Default washing a hybrid engine

Hi everybody!
I have posted this already on "engine/drivetrain" forum, but it seems the "hybrid" gurues have not visited this forum, yet. Any advice on this topic that is based on your own experience would be appreciated.

As there are more hybrids these days, does anybody have a recommendation for washing hybrid engines? The user manuals just say not to spill water over the battery, which is anyway located quite away from the hybrid engine, thus not relevant to the question. So far, I have not seen anything about washing the hybrid engines. Any advice is welcome.

I was them all the time. Just dont flood them and be sensible.
I spray a degreaser on the engine (older prius usually, camry/highlander still to new, havent seen any dirty ones yet), and use a pressure washer to wash everything down. Then I use compressed air to blow everything off, to lessen the chance of water settling in a connector or wherever.
Cover the battery if your worries about it.

Both batteries are in the trunk compartment. So unless you are submerging the car, getting the battery wet while washing the engine would be impossible.
