Default AUX Imput & MP3 Player

As I understood, I was supposed to be able to plug an MP3 player into the AUX jack and all of the folders/songs on the player would be shown on the head unit (navigation screen). So far I have tried to plug in 2 players (Ipod Video & Zen player) and the only info shown on the screen is "AUX is in play mode".

Can someone help me out with this?

Thanks,
James

Default Re: AUX Imput & MP3 Player

ok some people would call u stupid but ill tell you this. the folder and seek feture on your head unit is for mp3 cds and the folders are teh folders that would be on an mp3 cd. not you mp3 player. you have to use your mp3 player like normal and you stereo would be the head phones.
if you put a mp3 cd(you can burn one off your computer) in your radio you would see the song title and the folder.

dont worry many people dont understand this.

No. An MP3 player plugged into the Aux input requires you navigate with the player and not the head unit. If someone told you otherwise you were misled.
