Camry HybridGeneral discussion forum for the Toyota Camry Hybrid.
This is a discussion thread titled "Voice Navigation Question", within the Camry Hybrid forum, part of the Cars & Vans Forums category.
Does anybody know how to speak a "dash" when entering an address? Whenever I try to enter an address with a dash (ex: "ONE" "ZERO" "TWO" "DASH" "THREE" "SIX" for 102-36) the system reads it as 102736 or 102NW36 or something similar.
I've tried to replace "DASH" with "HYPHEN", "SLASH", "SPACE", or even tried to speak the address without the "DASH" (ex: "ONE" ZERO" "TWO" "THREE" "SIX") but the system tells me that there is no such house number exists. If anybody has any thoughts or answers, please let me know.
Would that county be Queens? My TCH is parked in the driveway in Fresh Meadows.
In my 7 months as a TCH owner, I've only seen 2 others on the road - a black one a week or so ago on 73rd Ave and another Barcelona Red on the Jersey Tpke earlier this month. Maybe I've seen some others without badges? I do see lots of '07 Camrrys, but so few hybrids, maybe I don't get out enough!
