Default Tire pressure monitor light on 2004 Solara

Hello everyone my 2004 Solara's tire pressure monitor light keeps coming on despite filling the tires to the proper psi. The car has Falken 215/60/16 tires on it and the psi for these calls for 29..I thought it was kinda low at first and I increased to 40 psi as my light had come on. I reset the light but it came back on later on..not flashing, not blinking, just on. This morning I filled each tire to exactly 30 psi just in case that they all needed to be at this psi but minutes later the light came back on. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Is this system covered beyond the warranty? My Solara has 61k miles on it. Any answers or tips would help.

Thanks!

You might have your tires re-balanced. That happened to me once - and the tire was a little out of round (which I got a replacement because of factory defect in tire).

I had a similar issue with my 04 Solara...it was very frustrating, but following the steps outlined in the manual corrected the problem.

We had the same problem. After resetting a few times it went away.
