Default 02 issue

i have a 99 solara v6
i am getting a check engine light on , so i read it out it said o2 sensor do these normally go out so soon this car has 90,000 miles with a new timimg belt and running iridium plugs in it , . any in put on this subject thanks

What was the O2 code?
Most 02 sensors lose their efficiency between 90-125000 miles. They wear out just like spark plugs with constant use.

P0135 is an 02 sensor heater malfunction. Bank1 Sensor1, it's the one on firewall side.
