Coming from a 07 Tundra owner...WOW I really like this vehicle. We rented a car while we were in Seattle and a shiny red V6 convertible was available. It has plenty of power under the hood, gave me lots of MPG envy, and looked great. Many people around town were checking the car out (maybe it was that and mid 50s with the top down). Would seriously consider the Solara as another vehicle purchase for our next car.
They were looking a the car. One of the few covertibles that still draw looks and comments. You can not go wrong on this purchase and you will feel better then driving a truck.
We have a metallic gray 07 convertible and often see people checking it out as they pass by. Some give us the thumbs up or just that nod of approval as they go by

If you drove a Sebring Convertible people would look right though you and think tourist and rental car.
I don't see hardly any cars with a rear wind screen. I have one on my 06 convertable & it makes driving a lot more pleasurable. The screen breaks the cyclone efect inside the car, especially at high speeds. When not in use just fold it down or lift it right out-stores in the trunk. It also breaks the glare of head lights behind you-especially bad in a convertable. Always neighborly, Coal Miner in Florida
