2.4L 2002 Solara Serpentine Belt
Ok guys, have a question. My wifes 2002 Solara has 74K miles, and her belt is starting to chirp. Does the 2.4L I4 Toyota engines have a belt tensioner that will allow me to release the belt or does the alternator have to be loosened and moved to release the belt? The alternator has only a couple of bolts, so it should be easy, and I tried moving some of the pulleys to see if one was a tensioner, but couldn't move anything. And of course, the engine is so packed up against the side I can't see much, and therefore move much. Anybody know, have a diagram, or the procedure?
