Geez...this looks a lot more hi tech than the other one!
Maybe I should just keep a flashlight in the glove compartment!
I don't mind fooling with something simple, but I'd sure hate to goof when it comes to this...unless you think this is easier than it looks!

It is easy for me, Ive been doing it 20+ years.
Costco has batteries on sale all the time

Find a friend who may know just a tad bit more than you (automotive) and tackle it together, and if it doesnt work, you can blame him.

Hey, thanks for all your help, I ended up bringing it to a body shop (other work was needed) and he popped in the new bulb in a few minutes. I would have ended up destroying the car if I had tried it!

One more thing, where can I get a replacement volume knob for the radio. Mine is a little broken. The inside connector that holds it on the metal pipe is cracked so it is loose. I taped the inside together so it stays on. The knob is visible in the image http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...knobs-66_3.jpg .

Thanks!

I have a 2004 camry with the same problem; I didn't see the PDF here. Any thoughts on how to do it on a 2004? Temperature and fan speed lights...

Thanks

Then replace bulbs as necessary

umm. That picture is for the XLE I think; I only have an LE with just the knobs, not the climate control. I did try pulling on them "lightly" (a decent tug) - is it still just pulling them?

I'm afraid to pull too hard if they aren't supposed to come off, but I honestly can't imagine them engineering them some other way....but stranger things have happened.

That is the only picture in the Toyota manual. The controls with the knobs (manual a/c) come out the same way. THE KNOBS DO NOT COME OFF. The whole assy as indicated in the picture comes out as a unit. You gain access to the bulbs from the back side.

Default 2003 Camry heat/fan control knobs lights

Does anyone have a part number for the replacement lamp for the heater/fan control illumination for a 2003 Camry. It is a miniature incandescent with a flat base and wire leads. Thanks!

Hi,

I'm new to this and not quite sure how this works. How do I get a copy of that pdf for removing the Camry dash?
