2003 Toyota solara subwoofer - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

The dealer I puchased my solara convertible from replaced the subwoofer that blew out soon after I brought the car. When I picked the car up It smelled strongly of glue - it does not have the same quality bass sound. I they replace it with a new speaker but not the same quality subwoofer if it evey is a sub.

What JBL subwoofer came in the 2003 Solara convertible?

Was the amp beside the subwoofer box behind the rear seat a JBL amp?

I can't find the info anywhere! Help!

I'm not familiar with the Gen 1 Solara (pre-2004 models) - and not sure there was a factory subwoofer box with that model either.

If you are in dire need of help online, I would check out the Gen 1 audio section on Solaraguy.org - tons of knowledgable folks there for your model car - just like there are here for the Tundras and Tacomas!
