Default Picking up a 2004 Solara SLE today...

...anything I should keep a "head's up" about? It's a V6 with navigation.

Nothing I'd worry to much about. I picked up an '04 SE Sport 2 months ago. I had my sunroof replaced about 3 weeks ago because of some noise it was making but overall, I love the car. Fun to drive ! I put plates on it yesterday too.

Thanks. I've got the sunroof noise, as well as a "tick" in the steering and "zip tie" sound when I turn the wheel quickly to park. I found where all these items are solved by previously issued TSBs. I've got an appointment to get a new key and fob, so I'm planning on getting it all done at the same time. I was concerned about buying used, but with the exceptions of these minor items, I'm very pleased. Nice ride.

Glad you're getting the TSBs taken care of okay. Make sure if you haven't already, that you get the "hesitation" TSB ECU Flash done as well. The car will accelerate and shift much more responsively!

Good luck and enjoy your new ride!

Jeff
