help solara ac sensors?blinking ac dashlight.

Changed 98 avalon with an engiine from 2000 solara. Is there different locations for ac sensors? ac dashlight lights and then blinks then compressor shuts off. Jumpwired compressor then compressor operates. Changed ac compressor relay and still compressor doesnt operate could there be a different location for compressor lock/speed sensor or any other ac related sensors? or could it be the ac dashboard automatic ac box?
