Default Radio Removal

I want to remove the trim around the Nav unit to install a rearview camera on my 2007 Solara Convertible. Does anyone have detailed instructions or photos on the radio removal process.

Thanks in advance.

I have a similar process for installing the xm kit outlined in a .pdf file from another website. I'll gladly email it to you.

Got the car...installed the Toyota XM kit using the the '06 instructions. There were a couple of diffrerences, but no show stoppers. The one thing that caught me was that after you disconnect all of the harnesses from the back of the Nav system and the back of the heater/ac controls, there is a connector on the heater/ac harness that is exactly the same as a connector on the nav/radio harness. Be careful not to get them mixed up.

Also, the nav unit on the '07 does not have a place for a backup camera.

New to the forum. Glad to find it. Have a 2006 Solara coupe.
Would like to add MP3 audio jack to basic AM/FM/CD unit. I have downloaded the referenced .pdf file and it looks like the info I need for accessing the radio unit is contained in it.
Any other information would be appreciated.
