First off, Let me say i always wear my seatbelt. But i would like to know how to remove or stop the reminder buzzer. I`ve looked under the dash, but there is alot of stuff under there. Can anyone help? It`s a 2007. Thanks!
I didn't reply to this one because I don't have the schematic diagram for (I assume, since it's not listed for you) a 2007 Camry, rather than the Tacoma.
What I have learned about the most recent Toyotas (my wife has a 2007 Yaris) is that the seat belt warning system is more integrated with the software of the car than on earlier models, making it (apparently) necessary to hook up the Toyota diagnostic computer at the dealership to reprogram the seat belt buzzer NOT to work. There is actually a note in the Yaris owner's manual indicating that this can be done, and the Yaris factory service manual has a procedure for doing this, but of course it requires the Toyota dealership tool.
I am firmly in agreement with the original poster. On DAY 1 of ownership, I disable the seat belt warning lights/buzzers (and also the key buzzer) on EVERY SINGLE car I have (couldn't do this on the Yaris, but then, it isn't my car). Usually all it takes for the seat belt is to disconnect (and possibly short contacts, depending on the car) the electrical connector located under teh seat. However, examination of the wiring diagram of the Yaris indicates (to me, but I may be wrong) that there is now some interaction between the airbag system and the seatbelt warning system.
Damn stupid nonsense. I, too, wear a seat belt every time I drive, but you know what, sometimes I just take my life into my hands and pull a car out of the garage without it. Crazy, I know.

This worked for my 2005 Avalon and my friends 2007 Corolla. My 2005 Solara somehow left the dealership chime silent. I've provided the origional link for reference too. Disable Seat Belt Buzzer
I hope this helps.

1. Set the LCD on the combination meter to the ODO trip.
2. Press and hold the TRIP meter reset knob for ten seconds or more within six seconds of turning the ignition switch to the ON position. Fastening the driver's seat belt while holding the knob cancels the buzzer reminder. (You may have to hit the reset meter knob to cycle through b-ON to b-OFF)
3. When this occurs, the LCD displays "b-OFF". The buzzer reminder can be switched between ON and OFF each time the TRIP meter knob is pressed. The LCD displays "b-ON" or "b-OFF" according to the buzzer reminder ON/OFF status. The display changes to the ODO or trip meter if the knob is not pressed in 10 seconds.
4) Performing steps 1) and 2) again when the buzzer reminder is off exits cancel mode.
will this work for the passenger side? If not do you know what i can do?

Take out your gauge cluster and snap off the little round buzzer, I do that on every vehicle I've owned

Finally killed my wife`s 2007 Solara seatbeat buzzer. To do this you must remove the vent panel above the power mirror panel, just simply pull on the panel. Then remove the panel around the igintion. The bezel around the instrument panel has two screws at the top of the bezel, and two below the bezel. Simply remove the bezel then the cluster. On the clusters back side is the black round buzzer. Remove the buzzer.
That's funny... sure seems like a lot of work just to kill a seatbelt buzzer that you might hear for a couple seconds! Guess I was raised with the habit of clicking-in before I start the engine (unless it was a cold day and it had to warm up first).
Back in the day, we had bench seats, so if you didn't buckle up, you'd be sliding around corners!

OK...we're in the same boat (or car, but mine's a 2005). My problem is the same as yours. I want to turn off the alarm signal but was told by the Toyota establishment that there is no way to do that. But some know the secret and I am hoping to find that out here.
I have an `07 Camry Hybrid and just disabled the reminder following the directions.
Only difference was the fact that the On/Off does not display.
1. Set the Odometer to just Odometer, not trip.
2. Pushed Start button twice. (To On)
3. After all the lights lit up on the dash I held the trip reset stem in and then clicked my seatbelt on.
4. No long reminder now, just the standard 5 chime for the drivers side seatbelt, then pleasant silence.
