Camry-SolaraGeneral discussion forum for the Toyota Camry-Solara.
This is a discussion thread titled "First '07 Sport Spoiler on an '06 Solara!", within the Camry-Solara forum, part of the Cars & Vans Forums category.
How much do the LED tail lights run? And are they difficult to install?
(Those '04 bubble lights are getting very annoying) >_<
About $250/set - takes about 15 minutes to swap 'em out - plug-n-play - but no back-up lights once you do. There have been guys who rewire and do relays and stuff to get the turn signals to light up as back-up lights and the stops flash on either side for turns. Too much work IMO - I just fly w/o them since you can't see sh!t out the back of the convert anyways!
Well, I could have a 1,000,000 candlepower flood light on the back of my convertible and it wouldn't do a lick of difference!
The design of the car is such that it's just about useless to try to see out the rear at all, unless someone is in a big truck directly behind you, or they are W I D E enough to see out both side mirrors.
One of these days, I'm going to get a Nav screen system and a backup camera. Personally, I think these should be mandatory items on this car, but oh well...
Been searching for decent spoiler and found yours just the ticket. Know someone that works for a Toyota dealership and asked if he could get the Parts Manager to order one up. He's having problems with the part number. Any chance you can help?
Sorry I don't have a part number... I just told the guy what I wanted and he got it for me. I'll try to see if he can look up a P/N for me and I'll share with ya!
