Radio on/off switch................

When I first got my car (2k Solara SLE), the radio power button would click when toggling from the on to off or vice versa. Now it it won't click but you only have to lightly touch it to change for on to off or the opposite.. Think I could buy the new switch and replace it myself? Actually my biggest challenge would be getting the radio out and on my work bench (and then back in). I am(was,now retired) an Electronic Tech and have worked on many home stereo equip and some auto sound equip. What ya think? Thanks. BTW I love this forum.

I'd say if you've got the skillz then go for it!

I'd probably just look for a replacement personally - must be a lot of OEM head units out there - I don't think I've seen too many with them in, so they must be just sitting around or up on ebay.

If it still works, and all you're not getting is a "click", why bother?
