Default Anybody Experiencing/These? (2007 Solara SLE)

Hi all,

My Vehicle: 2007 Solara SLE Black on Black - Loaded

Issues observed upon leaving the dealership with car:

Steering Wheel off centered - favors the right side:
Car pulls slightly to the right on flat level surfaces

Vibration at front end at slow speeds (sounds like its coming from the drivers side) - not as quiet as expected.

Right side clip of convertible impossible to latch from the drivers side.
Hard plastic that grips that latch was a bit chewed up upon the delivery of the vehicle.

Side mirrors at far edges are tarnished slightly losing its mirror coating.

Would love to exchange some navigation tips and inquiries.

Complaints have been filed - Service will take a look this Saturday 5/19/2007

There is a TSB for the steering thing - as well as the convert latch (though I just adjust myself as needed) - but anything that isn't 100% perfect upon delivery should definitely be brought to dealer's attention so they can make good on it.

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin

Check out the posting for your own car when you click on your car info from the forum home page (if you've registered with all your car's info that is).

I bought an 06 Solara convertable & also had a slight pull to the right. Also had the right side top latch hard to lock. Dealer adjusted both & no problem since. I suggest you pull down hard on the top until both sides are latched. Coal miner in Florida

Coal Miner,

the dealer told me it had to break in but also told me he'd adjust it on Monday.

He also said that this VERT needs to be broken in before you can really appreciate its substance.
