2001 toyota camry water pouring inside through passenger floor
I have a 2001 Toyota Camry with 92000 miles V4. 1 day while making a sharp turn, water began to pour into the floor on both passenger sides. This would only happen while making a sharp right or left turn. The water was odorless cool and clear. This was a tremendous amount of water, about half a gallon or more. Checked the AC drain pipe and it was clogged so I cleared it but no water really came out, just a steady drip. Then I tried turning sharply again and water poured out. I had the ac evaporator removed and it was dry and the other parts of the ac showed no signs of being wet, much less having one half a galloon of clean cold water in them. Took off the windshield cowl and checked for clogs in the drains and there were no problems. If it was a buildup of rain water, it doesn't make sense that it would be cold and clean. All signs point to an AC problem but the AC checks out fine. i bought the car and the carpet showed signs of previous water damage so i think this has happened before. Any suggestions of what could be the problem?
