Post 2002 Camry XLE Ambient Temperature Inaccurate
The ambient temperature display in my 2002 Camry XLE displays a temperature at over 100 F and then begins to drop rapidly. If we are lucky it drops to display "--" but if not it may stick in the 30's. This affects how the heating and cooling system works. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

Find the temp probe and clean it.
It's probably dirty.
The probe is in front somewhere.
