01 Camry Headlamp Cover Haze

There is a yellow-ish haze that developed over the years on the headlamp covers. I have tried washing and waxing with Turtle Wax to no avail. Is there a way to clean the haze off? If not, can the covers be replaced or must the whole headlight assembly be replaced?

You may try doing a search on here, someone makes a polish or glaze that will remove that haze. They had before and after pics and the covers looked new when they were done.

I've heard that toothpaste will clear up some. Try a small spot.....

I had the same problem with an older Ford Taurus. I found two different brands of Plexiglass/plastic cleaners at my local "cheap" auto store. One seemed a little finer than the other. I think the finer one was Kit Scratch Out?
Anyway, I ended up using a two step process.. ending with the finer one. It worked great, but is very, very labor intensive. But since the dealer wanted over $250. each for the complete head light assem., (I guess no one sells just the lens??), it was worth it. If you need a more detailed explanation, PM me.
