Oil Condition Monitoring IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!
Hey all,
I am new to the web forum...I noticed that no on has touch the topic about oil condition monitoring..I work for Intellistick in Newport Beach CA and we are the Center for Lubrication Science. We have created a computer chip which goes onto the dipstick and monitors your oil straight to your PDA or bluetoothe...Check it out at www.intellistick.com
We are looking for early adapters and people who are willing to try the Intellistick in their cars..this is the wave of the future..

Spam?
OK so what could a chip possible tell you? Conductivity moisture in the oil, or is it a full mass spectrometer that reports the elements and its the size of a suppository, do they still make pda's , sounds like a Snake oil shyster. Id rather have the gas mileage tire pressure caps from ebay.
OH no is this a TS sponsor, do I get an infraction now
Re: Oil Condition Monitoring IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!
Agreed...without a SA, you're not going to be able to tell much.
I used to pay for oil samples and one thing I learned was that even with the information, there's still a host of potential reasons for many of the findings / measurements.
I'm thinking this is a phishing attempt.

yes, oil condition monitoring is extremely important.
that is why i only buy vehicles that have a dip stick and an odometer.
i may be mistaken, but i'm pretty sure that all toyota vehicles come
with the stick/odometer monitoring system as standard equipment. yspert

Re: Oil Condition Monitoring IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!
Just change the dino oil at 5,000 and the synthetic oil at 10,000 to 12,000 as I have done on several cars including a 86 cressida I drove 429,000 miles using mobil one in motor trans power steering and rear end and never replaced anything they all lasted the full 429,000 miles. I changed the trans and power steering at 25,000 miles the rear end at 30,000 miles and motor oil at 12,000 I also used a trans cooler to help the trans go more miles.
