Default Buyer's Remorse

I was told that if I put XM radio in my Camry XLE that it would work with the Navigation. It would play the radio but it's not able to do the real time traffic on the Nav screen. I cancelled the order and called Toyota. I was told that it won't work and they don't have any information about future upgrades. I'm thinking about getting rid of the car and getting some thing that would have good options. Why would Toyota put some thing like this in their top of the line car?
I've also found the reclining rear steats to be useless.

Just wondering here...did you test drive / sit / listen to the car before you put $$ down?

My test drive was at Broadway Toyota in Portland OR. The reclining rear steats were a trade off I had to make to get the other features that I wanted. With the Nav I thought I was getting a fully functional set up. You can't even get a back up camera with it. It's not that I would mind paying extra for some of these things, it's just that the equptment isn't even capable of utilizing all the features of satillite radio.

Were the options you wanted found in the Avalon?
