What should the air temp be from outbound line from compressor?
What should the air temp be from return line to compressor?
Is the a range for average temp from the vent inside the car? So let's say I put a infrared thermometer.
My new Camry AC at Max AC doesn't feel very cold even when it's 60 degrees outside.

There is no proper discharge air temp. mentioned in the Camry service manual and there is no air going from and to the compressor.
The temperature of the conditioned supply air depends on the outside air temp, the cabin tempsensor, the solar sensor, the evaporator temp. sensor and the A/C pressure sensor that control the dampers, valves, fan and compressor.
Take it to the dealer and they can check the trouble codes.
I would doubt at 60 outside temp and cool inside temps that the air would be the coolest. Try at a high outside temp with the sun beating down on the car.
My Chrysler manual says the test s/b at least 70 degrees ambient. At 90 degrees ambient, the air temp from the panel outlet s/b between 39 and 50 degrees.

All Toyotas since the late 1970's have been designed to put out really cold 35-42 degree F air from the center dash vent (when the AC controls are set to recirculate interior air) REGARDLESS of the outside temperature and humidity. American car makers consider 45-50 degree air acceptable !!
Early 70's Toyotas had fully manual controls that made it possible for the owner to set the system to put out subfreezing 26-32 degree F air (in low humidity climates) !!
Stick a skinny household thermometer into the center dash vent of your 2007 Camry and run the system for 5 minutes. If the temp doesn't read 42 degrees F or cooler, then there is a problem with your system.
The three 2007 Camry's I have rented all put out 38-41 degree air from the center dash vent just like the 2002-2006 Camry's & Corollas I had tested over the years.

i never had a 1970s toyota but taking into consideration that R-12 was used back in the day temperatures dropped well below an R-134 system.
my 07 camry center vent puts out 39-40 regardless of the recent ambient temps of 70-95 degrees.
now certian VWs drop to really nice temps of 34 degrees at 90 ambient temp, it is really nice and freezing in there.
my 2006 camary goes to 40 degrees cold which is normal my 91 lexus with R12 freon goes down to 32 degrees the 134 freon dosen't get as cold as the old R12 and I was also told by toyota the computer now controls the air condition system.
If you want to air conditioner to last longer always turn on the system weekly for about 10 minutes summer or winter. In the winter you can have the heat on just hit the compressor button and let it run for about 10 minutes this will mix the oil and freon in the
system allowing for the seals to stay in good shape and let your air condition to last. I had a 1986 cressida it went 429,000 miles on the same compressor. Where I got the information on turning on the compressor weekly came from Denso the manufacture of the toyota's and lexus compressors. HERE IS A TIDBIT YOU USE LESS GAS RUNNING THE AIR CONDITION IN THE SUMMER THAN HAVING YOUR WINDOWS OPEN THEY CAUSE DRAG AND IT USES MORE GAS. ON REAL HOT DAYS ALWAYS RUN THE AIRCONDITION ON RECIRCULATE THIS WILL USE LESS GAS.
I have an 02 Avalon, 07 Avalon and 05 Tundra and during a recent heat wave (mid to upper 90s) I measured the vent temperatures with a digital thermometer on each and recorded a 40 to 43 range. Took a while to cool the ducts down to reach minimum.
