Default I need help...do I buy a 07 Camry V6?

I am close to buying a new camry. I can back out if need be but I do like the car and I love the power from the V6. I have alway heard great things about Toyota's in the past.

When I drove it yesterday i was unaware of the problems with the "flare" from the transmissions. From what i can tell is that Toyota is replacing the transmissions under a service bulletin.

Where can i quickly get a copy of one before Monday AM that is not a pain to get. Like can one of you email me one?

Is there a point in time that Toyota changed the transmission? Seems that the later one's have been ok under the warranty replacement. What would be the date of manufacture be that I should buy after?

Has anyone bought one lately? Does it work ok? What was your build date?

I hope someone can help. Thanks for all the other posts I've read that got me paranoid....haha Darn internet.

Thanks Phil

The flare is present in a small percentage of '07 V6's.
I've never had any problem.
Build date 6/06.

I have small issues with both exterior fit and finish and some minor cold weather interior crackling..
In short,Toyota quality is still up there but not as high as in the past.
Japanese made '07 Camrys have been a bit better on quality.
