Default little black oblong box

Hi guys I am a new subscriber & could use a little help. I just purchased a 2007 Camry XLE. So far I like it very much. The other day I was loading a baby stroller into the trunk some how hit this little black oblong box that is attached to the outter edge center bottom of the package shelf. It has a small white plug with a red wire & white wire connected to it. I tore the wires out of the socket. I have checked everything I can think of & all seem to be working Stop lites, etc. Doese any one have any Idea what this thing is & what is doese? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Frank

It could be one of the antenna for keyless start if you have that option.

I guess the smart thing to do at this point, would be to take your new car to the dealer, and ask them what it's for.

Must be an after market piece. Security, remote start, satellite radio, etc.
