99 Camry Turn Signal Mystery

Hello,
I searched and believe this has not been covered yet.
I have a 99 Camry that when the lights are off the turn signals work fine. When the lights turn on the signals work but blink very fast. All the bulbs appear to be working fine.

Take your turn signal bulbs out and lift up on two electrical contacts that touch the bottom of the bulb with a small screwdriver. Make sure they are not on you blow a fuse if you aren't careful. This will cause the contacts to press firmly against the bulb. Good luck

you either have the wrong bulb in one of the sockets
or wires broken in the harness running into the trunk lid.
did it start after a bulb was replaced? if so, wrong bulb
in the socket. yspert
