Sirius installation in 2007-2008 Camry

I am trying to figure out if I can add a Sirus kit to my wife's 2008 Camry LE with basic radio. No Navi and no JBL. Has anybody found a solution other than using the AUX port?

I bought the Sirius SC-C1 and an Interface for toyota from TSS-Radio.com

I installed the same Sirius unit and JVC interface in my 07 Tundra, Ill have pics up soon of the tundra as well as my hybrid.

You don't to use the AUX input as the sound quality is horrible. I originally bought one of those portable sirius players that you plug into a cig lighter and aux input. The sound was so crapy that I replaced my whole head unit and speakers on the Tundra.

The install of the 1st mentioned w/ interface is so easy! Just keep in mind you will have to tear back some panels and the center console to get to the head unit. You can also take it to any authorized installer if you don't feel comfortable. Good luck!

mmendez, i have same camry with basic radio and put my sirius starmate plug and play unit and it sounds good. i am using the aux port also, no problems. In fact i bought the direct fm modulator and never opened it when i saw how easy it was to integrate to aux. good luck, although my reply is two months old-so you probably already did something. let me know if you found something else that worked or sounds better. chris
