CamryGeneral discussion forum for the Toyota Camry.
This is a discussion thread titled "99 Camry V6: Where's the bleeder screw?", within the Camry forum, part of the Cars & Vans Forums category.
A friend had the coolant changed on the Camry at Jiffy Lube (I know, bad idea) and I think they left air in the system. Where's the coolant bleeder screw on this V6 motor so I can check it out. TIA.

OK, thanks. How does one insure that all the air is expelled when changing the coolant?

get a large funnel and cut the bottom so it fits tight onto the radiator fill. put it on there, make sure it will not tip over. fill with coolant and start vehicle and let it sit and idle for 5-10 mins. air should come bubbling out.

Also turn the heater on while doing this when the heater is hot you should be done.
