I have a 1996 Camry DX with the airbag light on. The light was never on. But when my buddy changed my alternator he never unhooked the battery and hit the rachet on the alternator power wire which sparked. After that the car wouldnt start. I looked and the 100 amp fuse for the alt was blown. I replaced it and the car runs fine and starts but now I have a airbag light. It was never there before. I checked the 7.5 amp fuse and its fine which is located under the dash. Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks
Your best bet would be take to the Dealer and let them read the code for the Air Bag Light. I would not be fooling with a system which has squibbs in it as it could be set off and injury you.

Your prob right the dealer cant get me in until next week. Does anyone know how to reset the airbag light on a 96 camry using the diaginosis terminal. Thanks
