Default 2007 Camry XLE Rear Suspension Noise

Recently, we started hearing a loud click noise in the left rear when our 2007 Camry XLE goes over a bump big enough to cause the rear end to bounce. It is more noticeable when there are four passengers and/or we've got a trunkload of stuff aboard. The car has 26K mikes on it. We had it in to Toyota, and they could not duplicate the problem when the mechanic road-tested it alone even though my wife gave him the conditions under which we hear it. They checked everything in the rear for tightness but couldn't find anything loose they could assign as cause. Anyone have any ideas or experienced this? It sounds like a loose shock to me.

Default Re: 2007 Camry XLE Rear Suspension Noise

Ok I think I might have your solution.I recently was hearing a loud click in my front tire. The problem was that my brake lock was lose.It took about 20 mins for them to tighten it. Another problem that I had at the same time was that everytime I made a right turn my car would make a grinding noise, they thought it could be a shock too. After checking the suspension they couldn't find the problem. After 1 week we figured out that we had installed non-toyota brakes in the back. After they were replaced the problem went away.
