Of all things to do to a new car I dropped a full can of Raid bug killer on the hood and it left a nice little thumb nail size ding in the hood right above the passenger side head light about 2 inch's from the side edge of the hood. My wife is pissed even thought it was an accident. Looks like I may be getting a bug shield or a bra for it to cover the ding.
1st boo boo is always the worst. Thers is a place here called the dent doctor and they have removed dents for me before. Maybe there is one in your area
Might be worth your $500 to get it fixed at a body shop. If the wife isn't happy you aren't either, and the happiness of a wife is PRICELESS. Thats a bummer though.
Hey there, go to your local Toyota dealer, there are guys who specialize in taking out small dings for small dollars.....good luck, CSM-H

I think your wife needs to be retrained in her behavior. I had my new Tundra just 8 hours & was riding around in a wooded area & came up against a tree stump & put some nice crinkles on the right lower side of the truck. It was in a way alcohal related. But all my wife said was couldn't you have waited a little more than just 8 hours before you start banging it up. Case Closed. Coal Miner in New Jersey.

Yeah, well she is over it now. The ding was in HER car, less then 500 miles on it. If it was my truck she wouldn't fret at all.
