Advice on purchasing 2002 Camry LE

Hello all, I am in the market for a car to give me better gas mileage as a commuter car. I have been looking at a 2002 Toyota Camry LE
2.4L I4 16V DOHC Ext. Color: White . The car has 114,000 miles. The dealer is selling the car for $9,000. KBB retail is also $9,000. Is this too much of a risky purchase? Is the price too much?
