Still having a few issues w/ transmission. Have been to dealer a couple times to go for a ride w/service tek. Simply can't duplicate the slip w/them. I sware it will do it 5-6 times and then I drive to dealer and it shifts fine. They wanted me to leave it and let one of the service guys drive it for a week and see if they can notice it, but i am pretty anal about my cars, I dont want to do that. One day I will luck out and duplicate it for them, if I have to go there 100 times. On a good note, I took it in for the rear brake squeek (the warranty is up in May) and they replaced rear brake pads and shims and front shims. Don'know if it fixed problem cause it only does it when it is cold, but was assured it will be good. Also had a tsb done for the dash creaking. Same thing, only did it when it was really cold out so won't know if it is fixed till winter. Of course, no charge and a new Camry loaner for the day. It was just a 4 cylinder and am glad I bought the v6. If I ever get the trans issue squared away, I will post

New TSB's issued last month for the V6.
One for the 2007 and another for the 2008-2009.

For the record, my replacement transmission now has almost 60K miles on it and I'm not having any problems. My mileage in the city (if I'm kind on the accelerator) is in the 22-25 range...highway mileage is still 28-30 MPG.
No leaks, no noises...works like it should.
Thanks

2007 Camry LE V6
Hey NJERALD...any chance you can email me or point me to a copy of the new TSB for the 2007 V6 transmission?
(NOTE TO ADMIN: This was one of the reasons that I joined this group and I did have full access at one time but I guess the concept of value added service to your subscribers is lost. Alas, this is the very reason that will push me to not renew my membership.)
Thanks

2007 Camry LE V6
FINALLY!!! Took the Camry to the dealer today and had a tech ride w/me. Was finally able to duplicate the trans slip/flare. The service writer set up an appointment to have their head tech check it out. Have to leave it for several days but I get a loaner so no biggy. I will take it in on 6/5/09 and post their findings. I have owned 10 new Toyotas and this is the first one I have ever had in for any kind of issue. Been in 7 times for various things. Unbelievable. Almost ready to trade for an Accord
