Angry 2007 Camry Pee Smell

We have a 2007 Camry Le and have started noticing a pee smell coming out of the air vents when we start it. It's been horribly hot here (I'm south of Texas) and I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. Last year, I had my Tundra getting work done and the dealership gave me a 2007 Camry as a loaner. The car had around 20,000 miles and stunk like pee. I took it back to the dealership and they gave me another 2007 Camry. It too smelt like pee. I thought maybe they were mixing up their own window cleaner and had put a bunch of ammonia in it. Anyways, our car is creaping up to 16,000 miles and were getting this cat pee smell like the dealerships Camrys.

My brother-in-law at Home Depot and traced a pee smell on one of their rental trucks to the transmission fluid...

Anybody have any ideas where this is coming from? I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Joel

Haha, LOL, I thought I am the only one with the CAT PEE smell problem. My 07 GS350 had it first; I tried to wash the car underneath thoroughly because I really thought a cat peed on my car. It did not work so I continue suffered it for about more than a month then it slowly went away. Then the Highlander (2003) got the same problem for the first time and it just got rid of the smell now. I was think about the mould from the cabin air filter…

I've turned on the heater, sprayed lysol into the outside vents under the wiper blades and keep the fan on high for a while. This seem to work for me vice buying the new filter.

I thought I was the only one with this issue also. I thought a cat pissed on my car. I had it in my 1996 camry and now my 2007 camry, but in the 07 I only smell it when the ac is pulling fresh air. When it is on recirculate, I don't smell it.

finally found it online http://www.ac-evaporator-cleaner.com
hopefully I've saved everyone 45 minutes of searching. This website was also recommended in other forums (mercedes forum and toyotanation in particular).

Thanks for everyone's input... Frigi-Clean and Frigi-Fresh worked.
