94 camry 4 cyl lots of black smoke after sitting in a line up for 3 hours in the heat
upon acceleration there was a lot of black smoke coming out of the tail pipe, under throttle, lite load, enigne was fairly hot (upper end of gauge not in red) coolant was changed recently.
car has somewhat of a electrical problem which has been intermitent over the past while now.
light oil haze while idleing.
while doing approximately 40 mph, mid-top end of rpm range.
oil is normal, coolant is clean and new (3 months ago).
idle is perfect,
and while cold can't make it happen.
200k on the odometer.
regular maintenance through past 100k
no cel
loud rattle from under the hood.
any ideas what it could be?
