Did you install the eye lids yet?????

About the folding mirrors.. the dealer ask for 219 + 65 for shipping.. does that sound right???

How much did you pay to get them painted?

Installed my eyelids months ago. Put on my turnsignal redouts last weekend. Love them......

I painted them myself with silver spray paint and 2 clear coats.

The last thing you want to do on installation....the very last thing after everything checks out is snap the covers on. The only way to remove them is to remove the mirror glass which won't be easy.

As stated in my toyotanation reference below, I paid $252 total.

$147 for the incandescent mirrors + $24 upgrade for LEDs + $73 shipping + $8 paypal charge.

Did you ask for the mating Toyota electrical connector and pins?

.

Just finished another mod - H9 bulbs for my low beams - 61% more light output than the H11s.........

Bad news, They have slightly jacked up the price... so they're gonna try giving me a better offer.

So what did you use to adjust the eyelids??
I still havent got time to adjust them..

Njerald,

Here's a question for you since I couldnt answer....

"Hello,

Sorry to keep you waiting.

About the mirror, may I ask that do you know it needs a new hub (connector) to install on your car?
Since it's multi-function mirror, the original hub can't fit the connector on the mirror.

Our last American customer was quite confused about this part, so we hope you can understand all the situation, then we can have a smooth transaction.

I wasn't confused about the connector, they couldn't tell me about it so at least a week. They finally gave me a part number (Toyota) but it isn't available in the USA.

Yes, if you can get the mating Toyota (Japan) connector and the pins, it will make your installation easier.

I had to cut off their supplied connector and buy two Radio Shack male and female 8 pin connectors to mate up with the existing and new wiring.

Doesnt sound like the Japan connector and the pins would be an easy piece to encounter...

Perhaps it's much easier to grab the custom parts here?? What do you think???

We no longer have a Radio Shack here in Canada... perhaps The Source by Circuit City.... that's what our Radio Shack had become...

So a male and female 8pin connectors? Any soldering involved?

Have them supply the mating Toyota connector. It will cut your connector work time in half.

Yes, you need to solder the wires into the pins.

He gave me another quote.. which is 5 bucks cheaper than first quote?

Dear customer,

Hello, sorry to keep you waiting.

We are very sorry to say that we don't have the connector; our last American customer who bought this item said that he bought a 9 pin connector in Radio Shack.

Maybe you can take it as reference.

Do you want the same item with the one you saw on the web-forum?
If so, the total price will be: USD.210+USD.65 (freight) =USD.275

And the specific equipment will be:
1. LED light
2. Material cover (need to be painted by yourself)
3. Auto-back holder

If you can understand and accept, please do the payment to our Paypal account: lgrilles@gmail.com

Regards,
Lgrilles

Well, they remember me. I chewed them out a number of times to try to get answers before I bought mine.

Sounds just like mine. Too bad they can't get the connector to eliminate some work.

Can you please let me know??? Can you tell the difference between your car's paint job and your mirror's after you have installed it???

#2 I need to find a place to install it... I have no clue how to do wirings around the car... i'm a total dummy!!! i wished it was just a computer, it would be a whole lot easier to disassemble, install and etc. for me.
