Question no back-up or trunk lid brake lights

Hi, I have a 1998 Toyota camry 2.2 liter engine, the problem I'm having is: the bad light indicator and engine service light has come on in the dash, the backup lights and the breaklights in the trunk lid don't work, I took the car to an Advance Auto store to check engine service code. It said that the park-neural safety switch on the side of the transmission is bad. I replaced it, this switch was 220.00 dollars, I have replaced all the light bulbs, and checked the fuses, and checked for voltage, there is no voltage to the light sockets when the transmission is in reverse, and no voltage when the break pedal is pushed. This is starting to be a costly project. I don't know if any of these problems are related, any suggestion would be a big help!!

What is the MIL code or is it a thing of the past?

If it's just the lights now:

Fairly simple...........

Check for voltage at the brake pedal switch and work back in the wiring diagram for the brake lights.

The back up lights, the same way from the reverse switch back.

No voltage at the switches, then you have to go towards the fuse panel.
