Ok Here's the updates. I replace my old battery because my wife turned on the ignition to listen to the radio and the battery died. After that it failed to hold the charge. I just bought one from walmart and right from that moment i felt a differenc in the car. It may sound silly but the last quarter of gas lasted more than usual. I notice a big change on overall performance. Following day I filled up the tank and added the remaining 5OZ (usually added 3 OZ per full tank) of the Lucas Fuel System cleaner, and boom I started getting about 26 mpg on a 70 hwy / 30 city (This is running with my 20" heavy wheels). I went for 275miles on 10.550 gallons of mid grade chevron. compare to the 200 miles on 10G that i was getting. I'm testing my second tank of gas. Will let you know of the results.
P.S. I always use the Lucas Fuel system cleaner every 3K to 4K miles. Just this time i added more than usual. Also i just got the MAF Sensor cleaner. i will clean it tomorrow. Will post results.
Ok I clened up the MAF sensor wich I assumed it was the one attached to the top part of the air intake box. Right before you get to the hose. it did not seemed to work. I'm down to 20 MPG again.
I've give up. I'll just install the fujita Intake system and the custom exhaust and maybe lower the suspension a little bit. Also leaving on my 20" wheels. Thanks a lot fo your help but i can not seem to think of anything else that could be causing my problem.
How did u get a dual Exhaust on a 4 cyl? the shops always tell me that i can only go single pipe because of the car. Also where di u get the Strut Bar? and how much did you pay?

I never listen to shops..................I put the dual exhaust on 2 1/2 years ago.
Meanwhile thousands of '07 4 cyl owners who kept their cars 100% stock (and had their Toyota dealers perform all the latest engine computer reflashes that corporate Toyota issued for the 4 cyl engine) are still getting 31-32 MPG at 60-65 MPH just like they got when their cars were brand new.

hmmmm...I get 34- 36mpg on mine at 60-65 mph.

Is there a single thing you attribute the MPG to? I just got my wife a 2009 MT base Camry, yesterday, and don't know what it will get. Her '92 Camry started out at 34-36 MPG, but is now 28-29 mpg, with 180,000 miles.
I still don't get a straight answer about why my Camry is getting such a poor gas mileage. I have good spark plugs, clean k&n filter and just clean my MAF sensor. Everything else on my Camry is stock so please people stop posting stupid responses on people leaving their Camry stock because I've the same issue for over a year... my car does not have any mods or upgrades. The only thing i removed was the small filter that's located right before the MAF sensor and i did felt a small difference in performance and about 1-2 MPG more DODC. But today I pumped 9.275 gallons of mid grade fuel after running 200 miles from a full tank of mid grade fuel, usually Mobil. I will post the MPG log that i have so you can see my concern. I am not concern about money being wasted on gas but I would hate to see my car fail or get more damage from this excessive gas consumption. I'm also running with my stock wheels and tires.
I have not gotten my Fujita Cold Air Intake because if this problem gets worst and I end up taking it to the dealership for repair, they will try to tell me that the whole issue was caused because of not keeping it stock. Which is total bull crap.
just cruising around, and i know im not in my territory
but, thepro78, if your Camry has been getting such bad gas mileage for so long (about a year, as you have stated)

I've the same issue for over a year...
then why dont you take it back to the dealership you bought it from, and have them take a look like you said here,

taking it to the dealership for repair
if you bought it there, they may be able to find the problem, it could be something stupid like a leak or something.
not trying to be a ****, but just giving you my opinion, cause i would take it back.
hope it helps

I have an 07 Camry with 30,000 miles and I get about 28mpg. I usually drive 100 miles round trip daily. Which is 80HW/29City.
I'm sorry I can't really give you any new ideas to why you're getting bad mpg. The one thing that I can think of is where you get you're gas. Do you get gas from the same place? Try changing you're fill up location.

How often do you fill up your tank? do you let it go all the way down? If so how many miles do you get with a full or even 3 quarters of the tank of gas.
I pump every 250 miles about 11 to 12 gallons. But today I pump 15 gallons for 380 miles. It got a little bit better.
