Default Is it possible to install an electric seat in '09?

Purchased a 2009 w/o power seats.

Was wondering if it was feasible / possible to install a drivers side electric seat. I'm assuming its not wired & the availability of replacement seats may not be conducive.

TIA.

Sure - buy the heating elements, switch, wiring, tear your seat covers off, install the elements, switch, wiring and reinstall the seat covers.

While that does sound like a fun, eventful way to spend the weekend. I guess I was asking, more to the point. Can a OEM power adjustable seat be found (where), bought? If so, would it wire up fairly painlessly. More over what kinda price tag should I expect to pony up.

Toyota dealer, wrecking yard, occasionally on ebay.

Over $3,000 for the drivers seat from your dealer.

Don't buy a stripper next time...................

Its my understanding the only difference between the 'stripper' and the LX is the power seat - - well, that and the price. Out the door for $17.5K vs $22K.

Your understanding is wrong....

How's that remote keyless entry and chrome interior trim working for you?

Stripper price is $1,455 less MSRP than the LE

Your price on a stripper s/b $16,799-17,731 +TTL
Your price on an LE s/b $18,345-18,549 +TTL

There are also a number of stripper loss leaders cheaper than that.

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
