Default 2005 Camry LE 4 cylinder Brake Adjustment

Hi,
I have a 2005 Camry LE which the rear brakes get out of adjustment.
I had called several shops and I get different stories about the adjustment.
One is that you have to manually adjust the brakes, the other no they are self adjusting.
I think I might need a new spring kit for the brakes, but the shops tell me otherwise.
Would anyone out there be able to tell me if they self adjust or do I have to keep manually adjusting them.
If I do have to keep manually adjusting them how many times might I have to do this.
Any reply would be greatly appreciated and a big help as this is my first car.
Thank you

The simple answers are:
Yes, the rear brakes are self adjusting, and
Yes, you will have to adjust them manually at times.
The only time I found mine to be out of adj. was at the time of delivery(new), I adjusted them and they held until I got rid of the car.
BTW, Checkig the rear brake lining(when I done the fronts)showed very little wear.

I realized (a little too late) that you did not mention the type of rear brakes you have(Disc or Drum). My answer is about my experieces with a 90 and 97 camrys with DRUM brakes.
