Default Trouble with tranny

Has anybody had trouble with the 2.4 L 4 speed in the 02 to 04s . When im on the freeway doing 60 mph and let off it fells like the torque convertor sticks . It doesnt down shift but thats the feeling I get . I have replaced the fluid three times now thinking something is sticking but still fells the same . On my 30 mile commute oneway it does it one or twice at about 60 . other than that it shifts good .

when cruising at about 60 or above the lockup clutch in the torque coverter enguages to test if it is disengauging properly stay at a constant speed dont let off of the gas but just tap the brake enough to just turn on the brake lights when the ecm recives the brake signal it will disengauge the lock up you will see the rpms rise approxamatly 50 to 100rpm if this happens its operating normally

Shouldn't the rpm rise by more than 100? I mostly drive a manual, but am used to seeing a difference of a few hundred rpm.
