Hi, While I was finishing replacing the light in the shift selector on my '99 Camry, I suddenly couldn't shift out of park. It shifted during most of this project so what the heck? I didn't use any screw drivers or anything like that to pry things apart down by the mechanics of the shifter but that doesn't mean I didn't jostle anything around when I was messing around with the covers. I
can use the override switch to put it in gear. So I'm kinda dumbfounded. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but my battery was low on life prior to this repair job but I did manage to drain the battery at/or around the time when my shifter problem occurred towars the end of the repair. Perhaps an unrelated coinsidence?! I think I'll put a load on my batterey and see if this corrects the prob, but I have a hunch it's not. Any ideas out there in Tundra Land?
