Default Power windows and door locks not working

I've had intermittent problems with my master console for the windows for a couple of years. I could usually twist or pull on the harness between the door and the car and it would work again. But yesterday, I think I blew a fuse or something. Today I cut the sheath of the harness between the door and the car. There was 2 wires that I had to solder together. Then I checked all of the fuses. They all seem OK. None of the power windows or door locks are working from any of the doors. Is there a relay that needs to be replaced, and if so can you tell me where on the car it is located?
Meanwhile my drivers window is down all the way and it is still a little cold at night...
Thanks for any help!
Mark
