'03 power door locks

The power door locks in my '03 camry do not work on the passengers side and the rear doors. (The rear doors don't have a unlock switch). The only one working is the drivers door and the only door it will operate is the drivers door. I've about driven myself crazy trying to trace the problem down. I've looked at a service manual but the problem is I don't know where the relays, etc are. Can someone please give me some direction. This is the first problem I've had with this car after 158000 miles. Thanks

What happens when you use the *key* to lock/unlock all doors?.If by "relays" you mean the devices that operate the door locks, my guess, they in the doors. the schematic does not show any external relays.BTW the schematic shows a 25A fuse in the engine compartment fuse box(Door1), I doubt this is your problem since it's probably for all doors and your drvr door works, but worth taking a look at.What do you mean by (The rear doors don't have a unlock switch)?.HTHJerryR

The rear doors are opened or closed by the two front doors. They don't don't have their own switch. Sometimes the power lock works and sometimes, most often, it doesn't. If they're working, using a key on the passenger side will open all four doors. Drivers side will not do that. It only opens that one door. I took the door panel off the passenger side to check the wiring, etc and I saw the "door motor". It looks expensive. I also looked at the service manual but cannot locate the switch it speaks of checking. It's a ten pin plug. Thanks for your help Jerry.

As far as I can tell (It's hard to tell from the diagram) the 10 pin conn are in the doors.BTW you do remember that to open all doors with the key from the driver door requires that you twist the key in the lock twice in quick succesion.being the problem is intermittent, I kind of doubt that you have 3 bad door motors.my guess will be eiter a loose ground or a broken wire between the door and where it goes into the body(there is a lot of flexing there).HTHJerryR

I agree with what both of you said. What turned out to be the problem was a fuse. Not blown, but glazed over on it's contacts. I couldn't tell just by looking at it. It was not blown. But since I was getting a weak continuity reading from the passengers door lock plug I felt it had to be either a wire coming apart or the fuse. I cleaned the spades of the fuse with emory cloth and the fuse box with electronics cleaner and everything works fine now. This was a very frustrating problem for me but it worked out fine. I guess the good news is that I became very familiar with what's inside my door panel and how to remove it really fast. I've never encountered a glazed fuse. Wonder who else has had that problem and paid for the repair of something else.

The 25 amp fuse in the engine compartment. I didn't originally pull it because it's placed such that you can see if it's blown without doing that. Finally, after checking everything else there was nothing left but the fuse. When I tried to remove it with the little plastic fuse tool it wouldn't budge. It was stuck. It took a pair of pliers to get it out. Wish I had done that first but I just didn't have a reason to. Still, I'm happy since a door motor looks like some serious bucks and it's a bad time to spend money on things like door locks.

I'm having this exact problem. My remote will unlock the driver door only but only when it's hot out. If it's cool outside or night, they all work. I know that sounds crazy but it's the truth. It's been happening for over a year. All winter, the doors were fine. Then Spring time comes and the drivers door responds only again. Since we're in Texas, that's most of the year that they are out. It's SO frustrating with two little kids especially if it's really hot or raining. My hubby is going to check my fuses now. I'm praying this works!
