Does anyone know more about the Camry Airbag Recall?? Apparently it effects 2002-2004 models but the news story did not specify Japanese or American production.
I tried to switch my profile vehicle from Tundra to Camry and got a 'provide credit card information' error message...what's up with that??
I read a little about it in the Detroit News auto section this morning. Seems a little early to find out much info on it, like whether it's JN & US production vehicles or not. Appears to be something about how the bags were folded into there compartments. I imagine we'll find out the details in due time. There isn't any info on our site yet. To access your Camry data I believe you just type in "none" in the CC info window.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to syphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????

Victor, I think there's another campaign coming. The one I read about includes YM 2002 thru 2004 like Tundra Brad noted and as I recall it was about the way the bags were folded.

I'm pretty certain it only involves Camry's with the side impact bags doesn't affect any with just driver and passenger front seat bags.
