3-Years of the same style!!!
Well don't forget that the Camry from 02' Lasted ever scince 04', then a style change appeared. Finally.

Again, the Camry will not be redesigned for 06, but rather a completely new style for 07. Every 5 years they change.

I understand that, but we still had the same body features for 2002-2004(3 years) and different ones for 2005(2 years including 2006)

In the past, during each generation of Camry, the Camry has recieved slight upgrades and enhancements and "a minor facelift" upon its 4th year of production. The 3rd Generation recieved these upgrades in 1995, the 4th generation in 2000. Likewise the present generation gets these upgrades for 2005.

Toyota has followed this same trend with most of its other cars as well, including the Corolla and the Avalon.

I think Toyota has done a really good job keeping most of their model lineup fresh and up-to-date compared to the domestics, which historically have kept many of their same designs in production for 10 years or longer before they were redesigned.

Toyota Announces Prices for 2006 Camry
Mid-year price adjustment on three current models

Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., announced manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) today for the 2006 model year Camry mid-size sedan. Toyota also announced price adjustments for the 2006 Camry Solara coupe and convertible, 2005 RAV4 sport utility vehicle (SUV), and 2005 Prius mid-size gas-electric hybrid sedan.

Camry, America's best-selling car for the past three years and seven of the past eight years, carries over unchanged for 2006. The base MSRP for the 2006 Camry sedan ranges from $18,445 for the Standard grade with a four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission, to $25,805 for the premium XLE grade with a V6 engine and five-speed automatic transmission. Overall, the Camry sedan combined base MSRP increases by $250, or 1.2 percent.

The price adjustment for the 2006 Camry will take effect beginning July 1.

The 2006 Camry Solara coupe receives an average price increase of $150, or 0.7 percent, while the Solara convertible receives an increase of $400, or 1.4 percent. The 2005 RAV4 receives an increase of $300, or 1.5 percent, and the 2005 Prius, an increase of $300, or 1.4 percent.

The price adjustments for the 2006 Solara, 2005 RAV4 and 2005 Prius will take effect beginning August 1.

Default Camry Hybrid will be a 4 Cylinder

The question most people have wondered was will the Camry Hybrid be a 4 cyl or a 6 cyl hybrid. Toyota has now come out and said that it will be produced as a 4 cylinder. This will be the first hybrid produced by Toyota in the US (all previous vehicle are made in Japan). Toyota is going for the jugglar with this news.

Someone at toyotanation.com has posted several pics of the 2007 Camry. No specs, just pics. Apparently he was at a Toyota banquet and they played a video of the 2007. He took pics of the video, so they aren't the best. Here's the link. There's also some other spy shots on page 17. Personally I think the lines of the car look a lot like the 2001 Solara we had. I loved that car! Too bad it was only a 2 door. We had to get rid of it when the time for car seats came around. I love my kid, but I loved that car too!

Uh, no. I'lll never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever own a minivan! We got a Highlander. Had it since March 04, and we're getting rid of it in the next few days. We have a new 05 Camry SE on order. It arrived at port Monday and we're waiting on it to be shipped. The Highlander was great when it was new, but the ride has gone to complete garbage in the last 6 months. I'm getting in this Camry for about 2x what a nice set of tires for the Highlander would cost, so I'll let someone else deal with the ride issues and overall jerkiness of the Highlander!

You should have waited for the 06 Camry. Did you get the V6? Or the 4-cylinder? What Color? Give me some details, I might give you a couple of design tips.
