Default Oil Leak on 2000 4 cyclinder Camry.
My son in law just bought a 2000 camry with 115,000 on it. The car runs great but has a smelly oil leak down by the crankcase gasket - front side of engine. Also, when are you suppose to change the timing belt on this 4 banger? Is there a vent in the crankcase that gets or could get plugged up with sludge? Comments please? Thanks coal miner

Possibly the oil was just changed prior to purchase and some dripped on the manifolds?
