PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS
Engine Performance:
The standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with VVT - i has been refined to deliver 158 horsepower - an increase of four hp over the previous generation using the new SAE test methodology. Fuel economy also improves over the prior generation to an EPA estimated 24 city / 34 highway. The 2007 Camry is also available with an all new 3.5L V6 engine paired to a new 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift mode, a Toyota first.
The new V6 is equipped with dual variable valve timing with intelligence (dual VVT-i), delivering a top-in-class 268 horsepower while achieving an impressive EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 22 city / 31 highway.
Safety:
All 2007 Camrys come equipped with standard Antilock Brakes (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Brake Assist. Safety in the passenger compartment has been increased by adding 5 more airbags as standard equipment for a total of 7. The new Camry comes standard with driver and passenger front airbags, front seat mounted side airbags, front & rear curtain shield airbags, and a drivers knee airbag. In addition, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with traction control is available as an option on all models.

At a starting MSRP of $20,500, the LE 4 cylinder with automatic transmission is $325 less than the Honda Accord LX. The LE 5MT model has a starting price of $19,320. The 2007 LE with the all new 268hp V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission starts at $23,040. This price represents an outstanding value and is over $2,100 less than the Accord LX V6.
The Camry XLE will continue to set the bar in luxury and refinement for the segment. In addition to the features standard on the LE, the XLE will receive equipment that is typically found only in luxury sedans such as:

The new XLE 4 cylinder will start at $24,425, over $500 less than a Passat 2.0 Turbo and nearly $300 less than a Mazda6 Grand Touring. Although the new XLE receives over $2,600 of new equipment, it is positioned over $1,000 less than a comparably equipped 06MY XLE.
The 2007 XLE with V6 engine gains an additional level of refinement with the now standard leather trimmed interior and a competitive price starting at $27,520 more than a match for the Honda Accord EX V6. The XLE, equipped with the 268hp V6, has more power (18hp) than Chrysler 300 Touring while offering similar comfort and convenience features for $100 less.
The most dramatic change, in both appearance and performance, occurs with the Camry SE. The new SE has undergone significant structural change that improves the driving characteristics of the vehicle. In addition to the sport tuned springs, thicker anti-roll bars, and firmer shocks; stabilizing braces were added to increase torsional rigidity which results in exceptional stability during handling maneuvers. The underbody was designed to optimize airflow characteristics and generate down force at higher speeds. To further complement structural changes and its new sleek and stylish bodywork, the Camry SE also receives an aggressive body kit that further differentiates it from its brethren. The standard equipment featured below is in addition to or in place of LE equipment:

The 2007 Camry SE 4 cylinder AT receives over $1,000 in additional equipment from the outgoing model but the starting MSRP of $21,790 increases only $585 or 2.7%. The SE V6 MSRP will start at $24,315 while the SE 4 cylinder 5 MT starts at $20,790.
REVISED OPTION PRICING
The moonroof package (SR) now includes two rear seat personal lamps. Pricing for this package will increase from $900 to $940.
The heated seat package (HD) has increased from $315 to $440.
Navigation system package pricing has been modified with the introduction of the new generation system. The Navigation package on the XLE is $1,200 and the SE navigation package is $2,200, which also includes JBL premium sound system with Bluetooth wireless technology and satellite radio capability.
