CamryGeneral discussion forum for the Toyota Camry.
This is a discussion thread titled "07 Camry CE Keyless Entry", within the Camry forum, part of the Cars & Vans Forums category.
Hello, I am getting ready to get a new 2007 Camry CE. I was wondering if Toyota offers a kit to add factory keyless entry to them. I have an Accord now that didn't have it but Honda offers a kit that I added to mine. I was hoping Toyota had the same type of thing. I hate aftermarket.
Well, I'm not completely sure on this, but in the accessories section, they offer a couple different VIP anti-theft devices as well as remote start. These may be able to be added to your Camry. I know that in the features section, keyless is not offered in a package or individually, but there isn't anything disregarding adding this as an accessory. Look around, and good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Maybe he can only afford a CE or it could be maybe he wants a manula transmission and it is hard to find it in a LE so he is going with a CE.
CE is still very nicely equipped.
you got it on the manual part. I can't find ANY other trim in a manual and I don't want an automatic. The only thing a CE doesn't have that an LE has is a power drivers seat, keyless entry and a piece of metallic trim on the door panel.
Same here. I just hate to pay $3000 more for power seats, some trimming and remote key less. I think, its over priced. I rather pay the $150 to have an alarm install that can do the remote key less. I just cant find the new 2007 Camry wiring diagram. Anyone has seen it, send me a copy. Thanks.
My gf recently purchased a 07' CE auto. We decided on this because 1) it is >$1K cheaper than the LE, and didn't care for the added features. After searching hi and lo for a stereo shop to do our alarm, we were dismayed it was "too new". We turned to the factory instead, and found out our CE could be upgraded relatively cheap. In order to add the Keyless entry option, you have to buy Toyco part 00012-10520-05 which is $120. The installation is very straightforward if you have the Service Guide with it (Champion Toyota included this for us). I will be installing the factory RS3200+ alarm also ($109) since there is a whole kit for it (Part 08586-03T930). IMHO the LE is basically a popular trim package over the CE, not worth the investment. I would opt for an XLE/SE instead.

So right now you have factory keyless entry? Are you fobs part of the keys or seperate?
The LE costs $600 more (if you go directly to the internet dept.), The 07 CE has all the features that of LE except 8 way power driver seat (this I found it very attractive not that it is power, but the way the power seat has been designed, it is ergonimically perfect, it gives support for the tail bone, lumbar inflates and deflates and the whole back gets ergonomic support) and keyless entry and door handles and mirrors are body colored. I think it is worth it. The SE and XLE trim is too much to pay for the as it is bundled with other pkg like 6CD changed ( don't know who uses these with ipods and mp3 in the market now).
I want to add the RS3200+ alarm, does anyone know how to install it, is it simple ?
I'm interested in doing the same thing... Can you provide more info as to how I do this? I called a local Toyota service center and they had no idea what I was talking about?
Got a weblink or something? thanks

Thats my problem. If I get one, it will have to be a CE, unless I can get an LE for just a few more dollars. Automatic is a must though. Even getting a CE may be pushing my budget.

I went to two toyota dealer today to check this out. (I have 07 Camry CE auto also) They could not found the first part number (00012-10520-05) is that toyota part number? Please explain to me. But they told me that i can not order keyless entry only. And I can order rs3200 alarm (that includes the keyyless and glas brakege sensor) By the way part number is 08586-3T930 for that. They charged me $149 . Is there any way you can send (e-mail) me the service guide for it. Thanks a lot in advance. Utkan
Can anyone share their experiences - especially how difficult it is? I have installed keyless before and is pretty straightforward if using OEM parts with vehicle specific instructions.
I have a 2007 Camry CE and would also like to add keyless entry. Can someone verify the RS3200 security system adds keyless entry? Toyota has mentioned they do not recommend the RS3200 for the CE model. Can someone send me the service guide?
