CamryGeneral discussion forum for the Toyota Camry.
This is a discussion thread titled "07 Camry XLE Keyless Entry - how to reprogram", within the Camry forum, part of the Cars & Vans Forums category.
This is my first post so excuse me if this exact question has been covered before - I searched but I couldn't find the answer on this forum.
I just bought an 07 Camry XLE and I would simply like to change the keyless entry remote from 2-click to 1-click to open all doors. I called 2 dealers here in Phoenix and they said they don't know how to do it. Of course, the manual says it can be done, if you just "ask the dealer" to do it.
I saw some instructions for a so-called RS3200 keyless remote -- but I don't know if that is what came with my car. The photo of the key looks different.

A Dealer can change it with a hand-held tester. See attached for customizable settings.

The dealer can do it unless they are ignorant, stupid, or don't have the latest software. Find a decent dealer!!!!!!!
