I just got a 2007 Camry XLE with the JBL sound system and I want to replace the XM tuner with a Sirius Tuner. First question is where is the tuner located and Second question is if the satellite tuner is behind the JBL radio (which I have a suspicion that it is) how do I get the plate off - just pry it off? Last is there a service manual I can buy online for the 2007 camry preferrable in PDF format?

The tuner s/b mounted on the right side of the trunk.
OK I found the XM tuner thanks for the info. Will I be able to use the wire harness that was being used on th XM for the Sirius Tuner? Also is the XM and Sirius antenna interchangeable or will I have to run a new antenna with the kit?

We use the same exact Sirius tuner on Lexus vehicles, and most likely the same XM tuner (never checked part numbers so I cannot say for sure). The wiring harness and antennas are different.

actually mine is installed on the windsheild to the right of the mirror. I gotta tell you Its not bad at all right there. It looks fine right behind the rearview. I never even notice it.
can someone tell me which tuner I need for the jbl radio. I can't find the model information anywhere. I just want to buy the sirius tuner for JBL radio and the dealership can't even give me the info.
Man, you just answered for me something I have been trying to find out for 2 days with no luck. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply.
Did you install the reciever yourself and if so, was it pretty easy?
The install was pretty easy. The hardest part was the radio removal. Overall it took about 90 minutes. My other computer has a bookmark of a website with the toyota camry manuals pdf (it will show you how to remove the radio).
As far as the wires i just hid them along the headboard and left front pillar(behind airbag) and along the door trim to under the passenger seat.
I did not have to remove the seat just moved as far forward as it could go and double-stick tape the tuner to the top of the amp. I'll take some pictures. Send me a PM with your email for pictures and the pdf link.

Buy the Toyota XM kit on ebay or from a discount Toyota parts dealer and the instructions will be with it, I'm sure.

If anyone is still following this thread... I have to post a follow up question...
Are you all talking about Sirius in 2007 Camrys?
My car is at the dealer now to get the Sirius kit installed into a JBL radio with no Nav... The dealer claims that the fit kit isn't available. Digging into the "toyotapartsdelivered.com" page indicates that the kit won't be available for order until Jan5 2007.
Has someone figured out an alternative for getting Sirius into an '07 Camry?
